We believe that VAT on gym membership should be abolished here's why:

Leisure centres do not pay VAT which gives them a strong and unfair competitive advantage over your local gym.
Regular exercise has significant health benefits. Any loss of VAT revenue may be offset by a reduction on the NHS burden.
The government needs to do all it can to help businesses promoting healthy living during the recession.
